The University of Minnesota Morris Division of Social Sciences may need Lecturers/Assistant Professors or Teaching Specialists to teach on a short-term and/or temporary basis during the academic year in one or more of the following areas:
- Anthropology
- Economics
- History
- Management
- Political Science
- General Psychology
- Clinical Psychology
- Sociology
Duties and Responsibilities
The primary responsibility will be teaching undergraduate courses. Some service and research activity may be expected.
Ph.D. or terminal degree for Lecturer/Assistant Professor; MA/MS or BA/BS for Teaching Specialists, masters preferred. Candidate must have academic preparation appropriate to the specialized teaching field. Though clear emphasis is on successful teaching, consideration will be given to scholarly attainment or other professional recognition or distinction in the teaching field.
