Job Summary: The Training Specialist is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and conducting specialized training requirements for a college, department, or division.
Additional Department Summary: The Advancement Technology Trainer will support the Division of Advancement to ensure the technology training and education needs of the division are delivered in a timely and coordinated fashion. This position will be instrumental in the design, development, and implementation of training initiatives in support of Advancement’s Blackbaud CRM software platform, Denny, as well as other software products including but not limited to Microsoft Office. This position will be responsible for constructing training programs and materials as well as spearheading Advancement Services’ business process documentation and providing training and educational instruction for all Advancement personnel. The successful candidate should possess excellent presentation skills and be experienced in teaching and leading in a classroom type setting as well as in small group sessions.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and one (1) year of experience; OR an Associate's degree and three (3) years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience as a trainer is preferred.
