The Bi-College Department of Environmental Studies at Bryn Mawr College and Haverford College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position to begin August 1, 2023 in Environmental Social Sciences, broadly defined. The successful candidate will be expected to be part of developing and teaching a diverse and inclusive curriculum, including interdisciplinary programs and other college-wide initiatives such as the 360 Program and the Emily Balch Seminars. We seek candidates grounded in one or more of the social sciences, including anthropology, human geography, economics, political science, or sociology, but prefer those with interdisciplinary graduate training in environmental studies, as well as those holding terminal degrees in Environmental Studies.
