The School of Philosophy in the Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences at the University of Southern California seeks applications for a tenure-track faculty position as Assistant Professor of Philosophy beginning August 2022. We have a strong preference for: Philosophy of science (broadly construed, including philosophy of particular sciences: physics, cognitive science, biology, neuroscience, social sciences, etc.) or social philosophy (broadly construed, including philosophy of particular social groups such as gender, race, and ability, social philosophy of language, social ontology and feminist philosophy.) However we will also consider applications in philosophy of mind, history of philosophy (including non-Western traditions), philosophy of law, and applied
