The Berea College Biology Department invites applications for a tenure-track position beginning in the Fall of 2023.  We are seeking a broadly trained biologist who is dedicated to teaching undergraduate students in a diverse and inclusive liberal arts setting.  The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in zoology or biology with an emphasis on invertebrates and will be expected to teach courses in zoology, introductory biology, an upper-level course or courses in the candidate’s area of expertise and contribute to Berea College’s general education curriculum.  The successful candidate will be expected to develop an ongoing research program that includes undergraduates.  The primary area of expertise of the successful candidate can be in a number of specialties, however, a background i
