General Description
The Economics Department at Johns Hopkins University is looking to hire a Professional Teaching Assistant for a full-time Junior Lecturer position with benefits. The person hired would act as a Teaching Assistant for four courses in Economics in spring 2023, which would include teaching a section of an Elements class. The Junior Lecturer could also be asked to do advising, which would be a course release.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelors in Economics, with some experience as a teaching assistant or tutoring undergraduates. Women and underrepresented minorities are strongly encouraged to apply. Instructional and administrative responsibilities of the position include:
- Possibility of leading sections of course(s) as a Teaching Assistant.
- Possibility of acting as Academic Advisor to Economics majors or minors.
Qualifications
