Part-time Lecturer in Classical Studies (non-tenure track)
The Department of Classical Studies at Tufts University is seeking applicants for a part-time Lectureship beginning January 1, 2023 (semester commences January 18). Teaching responsibilities for this position will consist of three courses during the 2023 spring semester. The department seeks Classicists in any field of specialization with innovative and thoughtful approaches to teaching that will engage the broadest range of students in the study of the Ancient World. We are particularly interested in courses that include a reflection on gender, race, feminism, social justice, or the environment, so as to invite interdisciplinary engagement with other fields, expand the academic horizons within the department, and attract students to the study of Antiquity.
