Position Details:
Loyola University Maryland's Sellinger School of Business invites applicants for a tenure track position in the Economics department beginning July 2023. Candidates must possess an Economics Ph.D. or expect to complete an Economics Ph.D. by July 1, 2023. Applicants should have a willingness and desire to teach macroeconomics at the principles and intermediate levels and to develop an applied upper-level elective course. The successful applicant will show evidence of (or potential for) excellence in teaching, a productive program of scholarly research, and commitment to service to the department, institution, and discipline. The Economics department is especially interested in candidates who will engage our students with high impact and inclusive teaching practices. Teaching load is expected to be 3/2 for the first 2 years moving to a 3/3 load thereafter.
