The Yale School of the Environment invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor working at the interface of society and forests. Applicants should have a growing record of research accomplishments based in the social sciences, and have a doctoral degree in sociology, anthropology, political science, human geography, or a related field, with the ability to develop an internationally-recognized research program. Ideal candidates will have experience with interdisciplinary approaches, community-level research, and be in conversation with the natural sciences.
