Assistant Professor in Society and Forests
The Yale School of the Environment invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor working at the interface of society and forests. Applicants should have a growing record of research accomplishments based in the social sciences, and have a doctoral degree in sociology, anthropology, political science, human geography, or a related field, with the ability to develop an internationally-recognized research program. Ideal candidates will have experience with interdisciplinary approaches, community-level research, and be in conversation with the natural sciences. The successful candidate will be expected to teach and mentor students primarily at the PhD and Masters levels, and may contribute to the undergraduate degree program in Environmental Studies. The successful cand
