Assistant Professor- Sociology
Position Summary: The Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Criminal Justice at Rutgers University – Camden invites applications for an Assistant professor of Sociology, beginning September 1, 2023. A Ph.D. in sociology or a closely related field at the time of appointment is required. We are interested in scholars whose work focuses on Race/Ethnicity and/or inequality broadly considered. The position carries a 2-2 teaching load. We seek candidates with a strong publishing record, an active research agenda with the potential to secure external funding, and a commitment to effective teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
