Position: Upper School Social Studies Teacher at The Greene School, West Palm Beach, FL
The Greene School in West Palm Beach, Florida is seeing an experienced Social Studies Teacher to join our growing Upper School program.
The successful candidate will become part of a growing high school program. With the addition of 9th grade in 2022-2023, the school will be adding a grade each year until a full 9-12 high school program is complete. Teachers joining our Upper School Program will have the opportunity to be part of building an innovative program that we expect to serve as a model for modern and relevant education for today’s high school students. In this role, the teacher will play an integral role in program and curriculum development as the school continues to develop. Additionally, we are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about developing and supervising a range of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities for students. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching advanced curriculum to high school students in Advanced Placement (AP) or International Baccalaureate (IB) Programs.
The anticipated teaching assignment for this position in the 2023-2024 school year will include:
- Modern World History / AP Modern World History (9th Grade)
- US History / AP US History (10th Grade)
- Current Events or other Social Studies Elective
