The Department of Leadership, Policy and Organizations is seeking applicants for a faculty position at the Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, or Principal Senior Lecturer (non-tenured) level to provide instruction and support for the professional master's in education degree program, Leadership & Organizational Performance (LOP). Candidates are sought to teach multiple courses in the program, including but not limited to: Strategy & Analytics, Learning Organizations, Organizational Theory & Behavior, Prosocial Leadership, Talent Management, and Strategic Workforce Planning. The program seeks candidates who will engage with other programs in the department, possibly including courses at the undergraduate and doctoral (EdD level), as well as being involved in departmental responsibilities such as advising and program development.
The mission of the Department of Leadership, Policy, and Organizations (LPO) is to understand and enhance the political, economic, organizational, and social contexts in which human learning takes place. The department offers professional graduate programs in leadership and organizational performance, education policy, international education policy and management, higher education administration, and independent school leadership, as well as undergraduate tracks in leadership and organizational effectiveness, education policy, and international education.

Experience in teaching professional degree students is preferable. Candidates will ideally have industry experience. LOP is a scholar practitioner-oriented program that provides students numerous real-world projects to apply course concepts. A strong professional network to secure these types of experiences will be considered a plus. Candidates are expected to have excellent teaching credentials. Candidates also should be prepared to teach students from diverse backgrounds. Experience supervising capstones or master's theses is desirable.
