Job Description
The Department of Political Science at Boston University invites applications for a one-year, non-renewable position in American politics, at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor, for the 2023-24 academic year. We are especially interested in candidates whose research and teaching focus on Congress and/or judicial politics, though we welcome all applicants regardless of specialization within American politics. The candidate will teach two courses each semester.
Required Skills
Candidates should have PhD in hand by the time of appointment and evidence of excellent teaching credentials. To ensure full consideration, please submit the following materials by March 15th: cover letter, CV, sample syllabi, research statement, teaching statement, diversity statement, sample of scholarly writing, and three letters of reference.
