HISTORY TEACHER
Lacordaire Academy, a Catholic independent PreK to 12 school, is currently seeking a full-time
History instructor for the 2023-2024 school year for our Middle and Upper School, grades 5-12.
Applicants must have a desire and willingness to support the mission of Lacordaire Academy.

Qualifications:
? State Department of Education Certification
? Degree in history, social studies education, or a related field
? Strong content knowledge to teach relevant history courses, as well as electives
? Ability to present history through multiple perspectives and lenses
? Passion for history and ability to inspire students
? Experience in a classroom setting as a teacher
? Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
? Knowledge and application of best practices in instruction and classroom management
