Niagara County Community College has a need for part time Anthropology instructors to teach introductory courses in Anthropology within the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences division.

These classes are typically three lecture hours per week during days and/or evenings. They can be face to face, face to face enhanced with a Zoom option, asynchronous online, blended synchronous online on Zoom, hyflex (face-to-face, synchronous Zoom, and asynchronous online), and hybrid (in-person and online).

Classes are held on the NCCC's main campus in Sanborn, NY, as well as the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute in Niagara Falls, NY. Applicants must be able to attend in-person meetings, professional development, and other obligations on the Sanborn campus even if teaching online or at NFCI.

Effective September 1, 2023 remuneration for persons teaching at least 3 credits in a semester: $884 per lecture hour/$792 per lab hour.

In order to build and maintain an active pool of qualified candidates to meet our present and future needs for this position, Niagara County Community College will accept applications on a continuous basis. Ability to work with, and teach a diverse student population. Ability to speak in front of groups of people. Must be able to effectively communicate with students, co-workers, supervisors and the campus community. Must be able to develop, prepare and present information. Must able to operate computers. Must be able to physically perform the duties of the position and must adjust any teaching to the Americans with Disabilities Act provisions. .

Master's degree in Anthropology or related field. Excellent written communication skills as demonstrated by application materials.
