History Teacher (Full-Time)
Walnut Hill School for the Arts seeks a full-time history teacher to join the Humanities department for the 2023-2024 academic year beginning in mid-August. This is a full-time 10-month position reporting to the Head of Humanities.  The Humanities program aims to teach skills and habits of attention, critical thinking, intellectual persistence, and reflection through careful reading and writing in the study of history and literature. In teaching these skills and habits the department plays a central role in students' education as artists, as intellectuals, and as engaged citizens. A student-centered approach emphasizing depth over breadth is the hallmark of a Walnut Hill Humanities class.  As a boarding school, opportunities to live on campus and work as a dorm parent
