The Department of Sociology at UCLA invites applications for part-time lecturers to teach lower division undergraduate courses during the 2023-2024 academic year.
Submitted applications will be kept on file. A PhD in sociology or another social science, excellent teaching, communication and interpersonal skills are required. Please submit letter of application, CV, syllabi in a related area, 2 letters of recommendation, statement of teaching philosophy, and statement of Contributions to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion by going to UC Recruit at https://recruit.apo.ucla.edu/JPF08375. The application period will run April 15, 2023 - June 30, 2023. For primary consideration, applications must be submitted by May 15, 2023. Applications will continue to be accepted, but those received after the initial review date will only be considered if a position has not yet been filled.
