The Grauer School is a co-educational, college preparatory independent school in Encinitas, CA, enrolling approximately 165 students in grades 7-12.  We specialize in developing resourceful and compassionate individuals and college candidates in a challenging, personalized setting.  Our faculty is energetic and dynamic, engaging in real teaching/learning relationships with students.  In 2013, Outside Magazine named us one of the 10 Best Places to Work in the United States. 

We are expanding for the 2023-2024 school year and are currently looking to hire a Humanities teacher.  This position will include teaching middle school U.S. History as well as some sections of high school English-as-a-Second Language Humanities.  This could be a full-time or part-time position.  This is an in-person, on-campus teaching position.

Teaching candidates should demonstrate teaching experience--a commitment to student-centered secondary education, a passion for Socratic teaching, and an extensive knowledge of their subject matter.
