Wakefield School, located in The Plains, Virginia, seeks a dynamic and innovative Middle and Upper School teacher who loves working with young people to serve as a member of its faculty beginning in August of 2023. This full-time position (which includes benefits) includes teaching high school and middle school classes in the History Department and Humanities Electives, as well as advising 8-10 students. The ideal candidate would have independent school teaching experience,  a degree in relevant fields of study including History or Classics, and be committed to ongoing professional development.
