The Princeton University Art Museum, one of the nationâ™s preeminent cultural institutions in an academic setting, seeks applications for a casual hourly position to support the Museumâ™s social media presence. Reporting to the Associate Director for Communication and Information, the temporary social media associate will maintain the content and general operations of the Museumâ™s social media accounts.

The Museumâ™s Social Media Associate will be responsible for the following:

• Creating a regular cadence of content across the Museumâ™s Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter accounts.
• Manage overall social media operations via the Museumâ™s social media accounts and its Hootsuite platform account.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong familiarity with the Hootsuite, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter platforms.
• Understanding of the Museumâ™s social media content tone and brand voice.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Ability to execute both planned social media postings and reactive communications executions.
• Strong project and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum two years of an art museum, art gallery, or other cultural heritage social media experience.
