The Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at The University of Alabama invites applications for a full-time instructor to begin August 2023. Standard responsibilities include teaching and some departmental service associated with instruction and/or advising. This position carries a three-year renewable contract. Candidates with a Master's degree or J.D. will be considered, but a Ph.D. in a social science discipline related to the study of crime and justice is preferred. The ideal candidate will be able to teach a range of undergraduate courses in our Criminology & Criminal Justice major and/or our Cyber Criminology minor.
The Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice has a growing faculty and strong Bachelor's and Master's degree programs.
