Teach 4 courses per year in the Social Science Core. The specific courses and selections will be determined by the Social Sciences Collegiate Division Master. Contribute to the development of the program of writing support in the Social Science Core by producing teaching resources in consultation with the Writing Program and Core Chairs. Plan and lead regular staff meetings for Writing Advisers and coordinating their schedules. Communicate program information to Core staff and others involved. Coordinate student workshops. Mentoring four to five Writing Advisers, providing feedback and responding to requests for guidance, and meeting with each Writing Adviser at least once per quarter.
Education:
PhD in Political Science plus one year of experience in the job offered or in teaching required. Required: education or experience must include teaching at the university level.
