2. HPM Board Certified or eligible
3. DEA Registration; and
4. Ohio Medical License.
Assistant Professor: All of the above requirements.
Associate Professor level candidates must fulfill all the requirements above, along with at least 5 years' experience as an Assistant Professor with an exemplary scholarly portfolio and supervisory experience.
Full Professor candidates must fulfill all the requirements of Associate Professor along with at least 5 years' experience at the Associate Professor level with an exemplary scholarly portfolio and leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications::
Essential Functions and percent of time::
(25%) Provide direct patient care in ambulatory and home settings to patients with complex medical needs for palliative treatment, and provide support and resources for the psycho-social needs of their families. Patient documentation requires skill in electronic medical record system.
(30%) Didactic and teaching though direct patient care and supervision of Geriatric Medicine fellows, Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellows, Internal Medicine and Family Medicine residents, and medical students in inpatient. Ambulatory care, and community-based settings. Provide academic leadership in quality patient care. Utilize strong interpersonal skills.
(10%) Scholarly activities such as submission to peer reviewed journals, presentations at local, regional, and national discipline-related professional societies as well as membership in discipline-related professional organizations.
(10%) Administrative duties and other service activities as determined by the Department Chair

Special contract position with continuation dependent on funding.
