The AACSB-accredited Madden School of Business at Le Moyne College invites applications to join our warm, welcoming community of scholars for two positions at the rank of Assistant Professor in a tenure-track Management, Leadership and Human Resources faculty role beginning in the Fall of 2024.
Le Moyne College, located in Syracuse, New York, is a vibrant and progressive independent college established by the Jesuits in 1946 to provide students with a values-based, comprehensive academic program designed to foster intellectual excellence and prepare individuals for a life of leadership and service.
We seek candidates with strong interest in teaching within a liberal arts setting who are able to teach a variety of management or HR courses in an active, creative classroom. The successful candidates will teach courses in organizational behavior, strategic management, and/or human resources. We welcome candidates with a micro or macro research focus; however, our greatest areas of need are micro/teams and HR. Successful candidates will be expected to teach a 3-3 load, engage in scholarly research leading to publication in peer-reviewed journals as well as maintain scholarly academic standards established by the school, and conduct a reasonable amount of service to the Madden School of Business, Le Moyne College, and community as a whole.

Management and Leadership is one of the largest majors in the Madden School of Business; many of these students double major with other programs in the school such as Information Systems or Human Resources. We have an exceptional relationship with our advisory board, and close connections within the business community to offer our students numerous opportunities for experience, networking, advice and exploration. Faculty in our department have an active research agenda and have published in journals including Journal of Management, Personnel Psychology, Journal of Managerial Issues, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Management Education, and Journal of Organizational Psychology.

Requirements:
- An earned doctorate in Organizational Behavior, Human Resources, Management, Leadership, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or a closely related field from an AACSB-accredited institution or similarly recognized international program by position start date
- Evidence of effective teaching at the undergraduate level
- Evidence of an active research agenda
