BiGS Fellows will have their own research agendas but will also be expected to contribute to HBS and the broader Harvard community. In most cases, this contribution will take the form of working closely with at least one HBS faculty member to develop a new scholarly working paper, managerial article, or educational material (such as a case or technical note) or by co-teaching one or more sessions in an existing course. Each Fellow will have a dedicated HBS faculty host who will help integrate them into the community and ensure they make a lasting impact. They will have office space and administrative support during their time on campus.
Qualifications
BiGS Fellows can hold appointments at any academic rank (Professor, Associate Professor, or Assistant Professor etc.) and are expected to join us on the HBS campus for one full academic year. During this time, HBS will reimburse the Fellow’s home institution for the cost of their salary and benefits.
Application Instructions
All applications are due by 11:59pm ET on October 1, 2023.
All applicants will need to upload a current CV and a cover letter including a description of the research they plan to undertake during the fellowship and how they plan to ensure their research makes a durable impact on the HBS and Harvard wide community.
