Description
The McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University invites applicants for the McCourt Chair of Public Policy. The endowed chair holder is expected to provide leadership and substantial impact for the School across the dimensions of research, teaching and service, particularly with their research. The successful candidate will have an outstanding scholarly track record and agenda, with evidence of both high productivity and high-quality research. Applicants should also demonstrate evidence of national and international prominence in their respective field. While the search is open with respect to field and discipline, scholars with a disciplinary background in economics working in the areas of social policy and/or environment are especially encouraged to apply. The search is also open with respect to geographic research concentrations. Disciplinary backgrounds may also include sociology, public policy, political science, law, and related fields.
