Maintaining and strengthening this network of relationships with faculty and administrators at Praa, elected officials, community groups, and other strategic partners is critical to the work of the R&SP and to advancing the overall mission of Pratt Institute. This network creates opportunities through partnerships for research, teaching, and learning which also strengthens our partners and helps build a more equitable and sustainable city and planet.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with leadership within Pratt and with our partners, special committees, and consultants to execute strategies.

The ADSP will have primary responsibility for managing the TRY which includes direct contact with the participants, the staff at the Brooklyn Navy Yard and City Tech, future staff of TRY, raising funds for TRY general operations and project-specific expenses, and ensuring that operational needs of TRY are met.
- Provide liaison support with Design Works High School, a new public school developed by Pratt, Bank Street College of Education, and the Department of Education that emphasizes interdisciplinary, project-based learning through co-design.
- Support the CSO in managing the relationship with the New York Climate Exchange, a new nonprofit organization created to implement and operate a climate research center on Governors Island. The Climate Exchange is a partnership between Pratt, Pace University, Georgia Tech, Stony Brook, Good Old Lower East Side, IBM, BCG, and a growing number of community groups and other stakeholders. A high priority is developing and supporting a network of community partners to ensure they have access to services responsive to their needs.
