The Psychology Department at Ohio Wesleyan University seeks to fill an 18-month visiting assistant professor position in psychology. The successful candidate will teach three courses in Spring 2024 and six courses during academic year 2024-25 including introductory psychology. Depending on their area of expertise, other courses may include personality, organizational psychology, learning, and behavioral decision-making.
The successful candidate will join a department that is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion and should value teaching students from diverse backgrounds (e.g., first-generation students, students from low-income families, students of color, LGBT students, students with disabilities).
Qualifications:
- Candidates with a PhD are preferred, but doctoral degree candidates will be considered.
- Experience teaching psychology at the undergraduate level.
