About the Position: | The Baccalaureate Social Work Program of the School of Social Work, University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) invites nominations and applications for a full-time, nine-month, tenure track, faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin in August 2024. The program is the BSW component of the School of Social Work at University of Maryland, Baltimore. The successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to contribute to a diverse learning environment and facilitate student learning on anti-racist and anti-oppressive social work practice, experience teaching social work courses, a promising research agenda, an earned doctorate in social work or a related field, and a Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) with at least two years post-MSW practice experience. UMBC is a dynamic mid-sized public research university that values undergraduate teaching and student mentoring. With over 14,000 undergraduate and graduate students, the campus reflects the wealth of ethnic and cultural diversity of the Baltimore-Washington region.
