Job Summary: The Laboratory Coordinator is responsible for oversight of the day-to-day operations of a science or research lab(s).
Required Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree; OR bachelor's degree and one (1) year of laboratory experience; OR associate's degree in Science or Applied Science and three (3) years of laboratory experience. Graduate level studies in the science subject area of the laboratory may be considered as experience.
Skills and Knowledge: Must have the ability to manage others. Must have the ability to lift and carry lab equipment and materials weighing up to 25 pounds. Must be proficient in the operation of a personal computer.
Preferred Qualifications: At least one year of laboratory or teaching experience in the subject area (a PhD in the subject area could substitute for the experience requirement).
