Job Summary: | Launched in 2016, the GIS Professional Programs, or GISPP, encapsulate the Geography Department's non-thesis design and technology degrees in Cartography and GIS. GISPP offers two Master's of Science degrees, one online emphasizing GIS development and web map programming, and one on campus, allowing students to complete our resident Cartography and GIS courses in just one year. We also offer two, three-course online certificates in GIS fundamentals and advanced GIS topics. Over 200 students have graduated from our program since its launch! As a member of the GISPP team, you will play a critical role in helping us evolve and grow our brand presence, awareness, and recognition. We are looking for a creative, self-driven Communications Specialist (50% position) to design and implement all of GISPP's internal and external communications strategies, as well as craft compelling content for student recruitment initiatives and marketing campaigns. |
