During the Autumn Quarter 2023, the Big Problems Curriculum, an Interdisciplinary Program in the College, needs a part-time Lecturer to co-teach a specific course, "Water, Water Everywhere?" (BPRO 24193).

Responsibilities will include preparing and teaching this course with an Instructional Professor, holding regularly scheduled office hours, and the preparing and grading of written assignments and presentations.
A Master's degree or equivalent in Art History or a related discipline is required; a Ph.D. is strongly preferred. A strong background in teaching and writing about the relationship between artists and social justice movements, particularly in the area of environmental justice, is desired. This position is to teach one course. In 2023-24, the per-course salary is $7,538. This position is not benefits eligible.
