We are searching for several open faculty positions in the Department of Educational Psychology at Baylor University. Two of these positions focus specifically on children and youth with disabilities and fall within our special education and/or applied behavior analysis programs. DEPARTMENT: The Department of Educational Psychology in Baylor’s School of Education emphasizes interdisciplinary research and training focused on improving services and outcomes for children and youth from a range of diverse backgrounds. We offer undergraduate and graduate programs in the areas of applied behavior analysis, gifted and talented education, school psychology, special education, and quantitative research methods. Our faculty are passionate about conducting rigorous and relevant research as we prepare future practitioners, scholars, researchers, and leaders. Our special education program addresses pressing needs in the field by equipping the next generation of educators and faculty. Our applied behavior analysis program offers concentrations at both the master’s and doctoral levels.
CENTER: The Baylor Center on Development Disabilities (https://bcdd.soe.baylor.edu) invests in research, training, outreach, and clinical services to promote the flourishing of people with disabilities, their families, and communities. This interdisciplinary Center hosts a growing number of programs, clinics, projects, and events focused on addressing pressing needs in our community and state. It strives to partner with school districts, disability organizations, and community groups to meet the needs of individuals and families from culturally and economically diverse backgrounds. The Center currently hosts three clinics focused on the educational, behavioral, social, and related needs of children with disabilities.
