Position Summary/Description:
The Department of History at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Asian American history. Responsibilities include a teaching load of two courses per semester teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Asian American history as well as U.S. history and/or other field(s) of specialty. Sub-field is open. We welcome applications from candidates whose work aligns with our departmental mission as outlined on our website (https://history.unc.edu/about-us/). Applicants must have Ph.D. in hand in the field of history or a related field by July 1, 2024. Applicants should submit online a cover letter; 2) a CV; and 3) the names of three references with contact information. The review of applications will begin on November 1, 2023, and continue until the position is filled.
