Assistant Professor of History -Social Studies Teaching/History Education
The Department of History at Colorado State University seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor of History with a specialization in Social Studies Teaching/History Education beginning August 16, 2024. While the research field is open, we seek candidates with a teaching focus on world/non-U.S. history (including pedagogy of world/non-US history) who are committed to equity-driven research, teaching, and/or service. The successful candidate will be appointed untenured and at the rank of assistant professor. Responsibilities include: Teach EDUC 465 Methods and Materials in Social Studies Teaching and HIST 477 Teaching History Teach one of the department’s lower-division surveys of non-U.S.
