Assistant Professor of History and African American Studies (Cluster Hire)
The Department of History and the African-American Studies Program seek applicants for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor rank to begin August 2024. This joint appointment is open to candidates with a research and teaching interest in Twentieth-Century African-American History. Faculty hired in this position will teach a 2:2 load with undergraduate and graduate courses in both History and African-American Studies, as well as supervise graduate students in History. The tenure granting department will be History, with teaching duties split between the two units.
