The Department of History at Barnard College, Columbia University, seeks to appoint a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Medieval World, any region, with a focus that may include, but is not limited to, Africa, Asia, Eurasia, Europe, the Indian Ocean, the Mediterranean, or the Middle East.
Preference for candidates who explore the interactions between different cultures, polities, economies, religions, and/or ethnicities, and for those who can teach the Global Middle Ages.
