Position Summary:
The Department of History at Rutgers University-Camden invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level beginning in Fall 2024.
A Ph.D. in history, American Studies, or a closely related field at the time of appointment is required. We seek a hire who will complement the department's existing strengths: adding to our graduate Public History offerings; offering undergraduate Public History courses; contributing to our offerings in 20th-century US history post-1945.

Applicants should also discuss their activities and/or future goals to promote an inclusive and equitable environment that values diversity. Review of applicants will begin on November 27, 2023 and continue until a suitable candidate is found.
