Full-time Instructors/Assistant Professors in the Nursing department Emphasis: Simulation Educator
The Department of Nursing is seeking full-time instructors/assistant professors for its Baccalaureate Programs to teach as a Simulation Educator throughout the nursing programs. These positions include teaching and participation in department and university governance. Course lecturing and/or skills laboratory instruction; Simulation coordination; Scheduling; Technical operations of scenarios; Technical staff orientation and training; Simulation research; Liaison between departments.
Position Annual Hiring Salary: $80,000 - $84,000
Hiring salary can be above the posted pay range if candidate's qualifications are determined to be above the minimum requirements of the position description.
Job Requirements: 1. A baccalaureate's degree in nursing from a regionally accredited college or university. 2. An earned master's or doctoral degree from a regionally accredited college or university is preferred. 3. A clear and current California Registered Nurse license. 4. One year of full-time experience in client care within the past 5 years. 5. One year of clinical teaching experience is preferred. 6. Commitment to the university mission and the nursing department's philosophy. 7. A proven track record of excellent teamwork, organization, and leadership skills.
