Job Description:
- Provide leadership in teaching EDLD courses beginning August/September 2024.
- Familiar with and committed to this area of study, having previously taught the necessary courses and produced scholarship in the field.
- Advise master's and doctoral students in the various programs in our unit.
- Assume major responsibilities for advising master's and doctoral students, recruiting future students, potential leadership responsibilities in the unit (eventually), and teaching graduate level courses.
Short Job Description:
- Earned doctoral degree (Ph.D./Ed.D.) in Higher Education Leadership or closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Experience supporting adult learners and diverse populations, including second language learners.
- Active research agenda or evidence of the potential for an active research agenda related to higher education finance, higher education law & policy, and/or governance in higher education.
- Record of professional involvement and leadership (e.g., professional associations) in the field of higher education.
- Passion for and demonstrated commitment to improving the educational opportunities and outcomes of ethnically, culturally, economically, and linguistically diverse communities, with inclusion, equity, and social justice a key focus.
