Teach day and/or evening courses in Anthropology and/or Sociology, such as Introduction to Cultural Anthropology, Introduction to Sociology, The Sociology of Race, Ethnicity, and Culture, and Social Problems. Adjunct faculty are selected based on the needs of the program, applicant proficiency, course availability, and student enrollment.
Location: Catonsville, Owings Mills, Essex, or Dundalk campus or off-site location
Adjunct level 1 - $1,050 per credit hour. A minimum of a Master's degree in Anthropology or Sociology or a related field. Prior teaching experience preferred.
Adjunct faculty are expected to prepare and deliver course instruction, follow common course outlines and policies, utilize the CCBC learning management system, grade, critique and evaluate student work, provide timely feedback to students, keep and submit accurate classroom records, communicate with the discipline coordinator, and attend required training sessions, professional development and departmental meetings.
