Continuing faculty status (BYU equivalent of "tenure") track appointment at Brigham Young University, to begin August 2024, for a specialist with expertise and experience in Social Science or History pedagogy/teaching. PhD required by employment start date. Those with exceptional teaching ability are encouraged to apply. Salary commensurate with experience and rank. Teaching load will include core courses and electives for history teaching and social science teaching majors. Average teaching load will typically be 9 credit hours fall/winter and 3 credit hours for spring or summer term. Teaching (including supervision of BYU students in public school classrooms) will be the primary task of the professional faculty member. The faculty member will assist with administration of teaching majors.
