Assistant or Associate Professor, Sustainable Small Ruminant Production
The Department of Animal Sciences and Industry is the largest department (approximately 950 undergraduates and 90 graduate students) in Kansas State University’s College of Agriculture. We are seeking applicants for a 12-month, tenure-track position (60% Extension, 25% Research and 15% Teaching). The position will be at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor and located in Manhattan, KS. The successful individual is expected to develop an innovative and impactful extension program addressing issues facing the Kansas and U.S. small ruminant industry. The research focus will be consistent with the successful individual’s expertise in small ruminants, and may include nutrition, physiology, meat science, genetics or other related disciplines.
