The Loomis Chaffee School announces a search for a full-time Economics Instructor to begin teaching and heading the Social Science Department in August of 2024. The preferred candidate has a minimum of three years of teaching experience, an advanced degree, and the ability to teach courses in behavioral economics and/or psychology. Loomis Chaffee is a boarding school and in addition to teaching and serving as department head in the Social Science Department, other responsibilities could include dormitory residence or affiliation as well as participation in the afternoon program at the school in a manner commensurate with the candidate’s skills.
