Summary Description: The Teaching Dean of Education reports to the Vice President of Academic Affairs and holds a join appointment of 50% teaching load and 50% administrative load. In this way administrative work is grounded in the teaching and learning perspective. Administratively the position serves as the Academic Leader for the Education Department and guides work in curriculum, staffing of courses, advising, mentorship for adjunct faculty for the undergraduate and graduate programs in Education.
