Middle School History Teacher (Grade 8)
Poly Prep seeks applicants for the position of Middle School History Teacher who are excited to teach our 8th grade course and engage students in the process of research as they learn to ask thoughtful historical questions about the 20th century world and the United States’ role as an imperial and cultural power. The students in this course read challenging and thought-provoking primary and secondary sources about diverse regions of the world, and at year’s end present a capstone project of their own research, inspired by their curiosity and willingness to question the historical roots of events whose resonance we see today.
