Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Civil Conflict and Democratic Erosion Policy Lab
Professor Robert Blair (Department of Political Science and Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs) is accepting applications for a post-doctoral fellowship beginning in fall 2024. The post-doctoral fellow will help Professor Blair oversee the new Civil Conflict and Democratic Erosion Policy Lab at the Watson Institute, and will work closely with Professor Blair on a variety of collaborative research projects. Professor Blair's current research interests include policy reforms and evaluations to improve police-community relations in countries affected by civil conflict; the political determinants of violence against environmental activists in the Amazon; the development of mechanisms to reduce partisan polarization in the US; and the dynamics and drivers of democratic ero
