Position Information: The UCR School of Medicine's unique Undergraduate Medical Education (UME) curriculum prepares our students for distinguished careers in clinical practice, teaching, and research. The Undergraduate Medical Education program is overseen by Senior Associate Dean for Medical Education Pablo Joo, M.D. , assisted by the Executive Associate Dean for Pre-Clerkship Medical Education, Associate Dean for Clinical Medical Education, Associate Dean for Pre-Clerkship Medical Education, Associate Dean for Clinical Skills Education and Innovation, Associate Dean for Medical Education Quality, and Associate Dean for Assessment and Evaluation.
This position will work within the Office of Medical Education Quality and Office of Assessment and Evaluation. The incumbent will use professional concepts and apply organizational policies and procedures to resolve a variety of institutional issues such as enrollment, alumni, assessment, faculty, and financial aid. Works on problems of limited to moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
Please note: This position is eligible for a hybrid working schedule with three days in the office and two days remote.
The full salary range for the Medical Education Data Analyst is $61,000 to $106,800 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $83,900 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Requirements: Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training. Required
Master's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training. Preferred
Conditions
Four (4) years of related experience may be substituted for the degree requirement for a total of six (6) years of related experience required.. Required
Experience Requirements
2 - 4 years of related experience. Required
2 years of experience must be in a role where quality improvement projects have been demonstrated. Required
Minimum Requirements
Requires basic knowledge in data collection and analysis techniques; knowledge of common organization-specific computer application programs.
Understanding of organizational rules and regulations.
Able to provide good judgment, decision-making, and problem solving.
Solid active listening, critical thinking, good interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task.
Solid ability to present information in a clear concise manner both in writing and verbally.
Advanced skills in Excel (pivot tables, power query, vlookup), Power BI and/or other related software.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of learning management systems such as One45 Data Analytics, ExamSoft, and Canvas.
