TEMPORARY LECTURER POSITION IN ART HISTORY UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, DAVIS
Spring 2025 (March 27 - June 12), Lecturer for AHI 001C, Baroque to Modern Art, Lecture-3 hours, Discussion 1 hour.
Course Description: Introduction to visual analysis through study of western art 1600-present, examining major artists and movements from Europe to North America. Study of the relationship of art and artists to political, religious, social change, and to changes in ideology, patronage, audience.
Lectures are held twice weekly, schedule TBD
A Ph.D. in Art History or a related field is preferred, A.B.D. considered; prior teaching experience desirable. Salary is dependent on qualifications.
