As the Executive Assistant to the Dean, you will play a critical role in driving the success of the Bourns College of Engineering (BCOE)! The full salary range for the Executive Assistant is $61,000 - $106,800 annually. We base salary offers on various considerations, such as education, experience, and other business needs.
Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.

Department Custom Scope As Executive Assistant to the Bourns College of Engineering (BCOE) Dean, responsible for establishing and maintaining a professional and cooperative working environment within the BCOE Engineering Dean's Office. Initiates and abides by or enforces policies and procedures to achieve maximum efficiency. Provides executive-level programmatic, analytical, and administrative support on a wide range of issues, projects, programs, and on matters of importance to the College. As an ambassador for BCOE, works collaboratively with internal and external constituents including, faculty, donors, affiliate partners, and community partners to include local, county, state and federal representatives. Works closely with the Associate and Assistant Deans and provides programmatic, administrative, and analytical support as needed. Exercises sound judgment, tact, and the utmost discretion operating within a collaborative relationship with BCOE leadership. Serves as a project coordinator, providing support to the Dean and Associate Dean on college-level awards. Has a thorough understanding of the Dean's priorities and expectations and takes these into account in coordinating the Dean's schedule. Manages the Dean's and Associate Deans' calendars and assures that the Dean is fully briefed and has all relevant background materials for each engagement. Coordinates with other staff to clarify and arrange details of meetings. Ensures relevant materials, data, resources, information are summarized and compiled, as appropriate and applicable to a wide variety of situations and audiences. As required, arranges for communications, meetings/travel schedules, campus and community events, etc. Staffs' committees as deemed necessary: develops and distributes agendas, attends meetings, records highlights and tracks action items, and initiates follow-up as necessary.
